Saturday, 11th August, was an absolute blast at the Oadby Car Show! It was truly fantastic to see so many people out and about, enjoying the day and admiring the stunning array of cars on display. The atmosphere was buzzing, and the weather held out beautifully, making it the perfect day for the event.
We want to extend a massive thank you to all the event volunteers and local businesses who worked tirelessly to make the day such a success. Your hard work and dedication really paid off, and we couldn’t have done it without you.
At our stall, we had plenty of fun activities lined up for everyone. The “Ready, Set, Guess How Many Sweets in the Jar” challenge was a huge hit, keeping everyone guessing all day long. Our raffle for the M&S hamper also drew a lot of excitement, and we announced the lucky winners on our Facebook page on Sunday afternoon. We also brought out a classic favorite—Car Top Trumps—which added a bit of friendly competition to the day. All in all, it was a fantastic time, and we’re thrilled to announce that we raised an incredible £301, which has been added to our ongoing fundraising efforts for the LOROS Skydive coming up in September.
