Get ready, Oadby—Knightsbridge Estate Agents are diving in! On Sunday, 6th April, we’re making a splash at the Oadby Rotary Club’s 9th Annual Swimarathon at Parklands Leisure Centre, and we couldn’t be more excited.
Why are we taking the plunge? Well, this isn’t just any swim—it’s a fantastic community fundraiser that helps support local charities and international causes, including Mary’s Meals, which provides life-changing school meals for children in need across the globe. In fact, the event has already raised an incredible £48,800 since it first launched in 2016!
Our team of enthusiastic swimmers (and some self-proclaimed doggy paddlers!) will be swimming relay-style for 55 minutes, giving it our all to raise as much as possible for a cause close to our hearts. We’re thrilled to announce that Sarah, Stacey, Luke, Alfie, Bethany, Yvonne, Minty, Jo, Amy, Janet, Jodie, and Jake will be taking part—we’ll be entering two teams to double the fun and fundraising! And with music playing, supporters cheering, and a whole lot of community spirit, it’s set to be an unforgettable event.
